Vegas - Samba Grill at the Mirage in Las Vegas |

I was just in Vegas and had some delicious meal of Brazilian food. If
you are a carnivore or on the Atkins plans then this could be the place
for you. The cost is around $30 person. For this price, you will get
various meats cooked on a skewer. It also comes with some side dishes -
rice, black beans, creamed spinach, carrots, and plantains.
The waitperson will be going around the various tables and offering to
the patrons. If you want some, they will slice some meat onto a small
pan and you use tongs to take, as much you want. I found the beef
tenderloin & grilled pork with pineapple to be the best.
Interesting note - They have a stop/go system which signal the
waitperson that you are ready to more meat. It a colored wooden
hourglass dowel with red & green. If you want more meat - green side up
or if you are still working on current meat then red side up as explain
by a waitperson.

We spent December 2003 a week in Las
Vegas and just like before visited the Rio. We are glad we did because
of the outstanding buffets.
