certainly don't want to appear like you know more than your boss. And on the other hand
you don't want to give them anything they could at a later time hold over your head.
What has helped me in the past was simply offering to work for
three days for free, so they might be able to evaluate my abilities. If they decided to
keep me they owed me three days, if they decided not to keep me, it wouldn't have costed
them a dime. Several times I landed jobs this way, and my sincerity and knowledge helped
with staying employed.
